The Korea International Medical Equipment & Laboratory Show (KIMES) aims to promote international trade and cooperation in the medical industry between Korea and the world, particularly neighboring Asian countries, while providing a global stage for Oriental medicine and medical device industries. Through exhibition exchanges and trade negotiations, it enhances global understanding of Eastern medicine and medical devices, expands international development opportunities, and creates more global trade prospects.

KIMES is a specialized exhibition jointly organized by Korea's renowned E & Ex Inc., the Korea Medical Devices Industry Association, and the Korea Medical Devices Industry Federation. It holds UFI (Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) certification.

KIMES attracted nearly 1,200 exhibitors from 38 countries, including local participants from South Korea, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Taiwan, the United States, and Switzerland.
